Community Service
2019
In the spirit of showing kindness and love our Annual Community Service project is undertaken by our Grade 6 students each year as a means of giving back to the community. This year a school yard beautification project was undertaken to give the school yard a well needed upgrade.
Jamaica Day
February 2019
Jamaica Day (black, green and gold attire day) is celebrated in the month of February. At Praise Tab, students and staff alike, celebrate their “Jamaicanness”, our legacy and accomplishments in keeping with the theme chosen by the Ministry of Education. Celebrations commence with Jamaican breakfast: ackee & saltfish, run dung, callaloo, stewed chicken, peanut porridge, fried dumpling and saltfish fritters and chocolate tea. The viewing and picture-taking of grade projects, costumes and expositions follow. The day of merriment comes to a close with a concert showcasing the talents of teachers and students.
JCDC Festival
2018
Congratulations to our school's choir for placing 3rd among 380 schools in the prestigious Jamaica Children's Gospel Festival.
In addition, our IPAD band received the gold medal in the area of Classroom Instruments. As a result of this success, PTCA's IPAD band is now the top school in the eastern region.
Sports Day
2018
In the true spirit of competition, three houses: Eagles (yellow), Conquerors (blue) and Wings (purple) vie for bragging rights for a year, in cheerleading, athletics, football and netball. Parents, friends, staff and children participate in this full, fun-filled day. This event almost always brings the Easter Term to an end.
Graduation!!!

It’s time to say goodbye, as another group of our well placed Grade 6 GSAT students embark on another leg of their journey through life as they enter the world of high school. Each year our students are celebrated for their hard work and achievements obtained throughout their time at Praise Tab Christian Academy.
